Danielle Washington, MA, LCPC, LPHA, is the Founding Clinical Director and Mental Health Consultant at Purposed Peace Counseling LLC. She is dedicated to supporting both clients and clinicians in training, with a strong passion for mentoring and developing future leaders, clinicians, and entrepreneurs in the mental health field. Her mission is to make a lasting impact by equipping others with the tools and knowledge needed to continue this important work.

With over 15 years of experience serving individuals, families, groups, and organizations, Danielle brings a broad, macro-level perspective to mental health and wellness. She specializes in trauma-informed training and psychoeducational groups, working with schools, workforce development programs, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations.

Artrice Brewer

Artrice Brewer, MSW, LCSW is a Clinical Therapist and Mental Health Consultant with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families heal, grow, and thrive. At Purposed Peace Counseling, LLC, she specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and domestic violence, as well as couples counseling for communication and boundary-setting.

Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Faith/Christian-based counseling, allowing her to tailor treatment to the unique emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of her clients.

Compassionate and encouraging, Artrice also provides evaluations including substance abuse, bariatric surgery, PTSD (with nexus documentation for veterans), anger management, and domestic violence assessments. Beyond her clinical work, she is dedicated to mentorship, community empowerment, and faith-based initiatives that provide resources for families and youth in need.

Melanie Clavelle, MSW, LCSW, is a Clinical Therapist and Mental Health Consultant with Purposed Peace Counseling LLC. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, compassionate space where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.

 

Melanie works with individuals experiencing self-esteem challenges, depression, anger management, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. She uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness practices, and strength-based approaches, tailoring each session to meet clients’ unique needs and goals.

 

Her mission is to empower clients to build confidence, develop effective coping strategies, and create balance in their lives. Melanie partners with each person to guide them toward lasting change and emotional well-being.

 

In addition to therapy, Melanie provides comprehensive evaluations, including mental health assessments, substance abuse evaluations, bariatric surgery assessments, and anger management evaluations, helping clients with personal growth, medical planning, and court-related requirements.
